The updated Spring System 4-Harness Attachment includes 4 harnesses specifically designed for the attachment. Each harness included in the attachment is equipped with 105 wire heddles featuring small holes. These harnesses replace the 2 harnesses included in the original SAORI loom during the conversion process. Using the harnesses specifically tailored for the attachment ensures optimal comfort for weavers while using the SAORI loom with the 4 harnesses.
When weavers wish to explore their endless creativity through plain weaving, we strongly recommend converting the loom back to its original 2-harness configuration. Previously, we used non-reusable cap nuts to secure the 6 pedals included in the Spring System 4-Harness Attachment. We have now replaced these cap nuts with reusable stabilizing rings, allowing customers to convert the pedal setup more flexibly. Our original SAORI loom was carefully designed to make an unparalleled flow of weaving possible and enjoyable for anyone regardless of age, previous experience, and physical and intellectual capability. We do not believe that looms converted to operate with 4-harnesses can provide the same value as our original SAORI looms.
