Loop of the Loom is the only hand-weaving studio and classes in New York
City which introduces the award winning SAORI weaving program for children and adults. SAORI is a ZEN art of weaving from Japan that is dedicated to free expression
and self-development. Loop of the Loom has the pleasure of introducing this easy-to-learn form of, what we like
to call, "happy weaving" and unique craft classes used fibers from mother nature. read more >>
Also you are always welcome to take a single session, if your schedule
is not fit in our mini camp.
Semi-private class is $45 for 2 hours weaving. Materials are charged by
weight at the end of the session.
SAORI Exhibition "WATERFALL 2"--- Starts July 3 at Englewood
Public Library, NJ
This year SAORI weavers celebrate the 40th anniversary of SAORI. At this turning point SAORI headquarters proposes that all SAORI studios and weavers have
exhibitions of the same theme, "Going Back to the Origin of SAORI's Spirit". Loop of the Loom is plannig a SAORI weaving exhibition titled WATERFALL 2 at the Englewood Public Library in NJ during the month of
July 2009. Selected SAORI works from Loop of the Loom will also be exhibited at the ceremonial sites of the 40th anniversary
event in Japan in Novenmber 2009.
