Letter from a Child Life specialist
We just finished the first piece and it came out beautiful!!! Our patient was so proud of herself and her mom looked teary eyed when I brought it back up as she wanted to give it to her mom to keep. She picked it up super naturally today and I was so proud of her and wanted to share.
Thanks for teaching me this beautiful way to express oneself and to share it with our patients and families...it truly is life changing!!! I am so glad we can bring this kind of joy to the kids. It is so empowering for the patients and the staff....everyone is excited about it and the nurse are even getting into it. Thanks for making this possible!

After weaving at Loop of the Loom for just over one year, my 8 year old son explained his tapestry "Woven Sunset" to me by saying, "Mommy, the imperfections are what make it perfect!" That simple, yet profound statement says it all. My son had just taught me a very valuable lesson about life.

I was impressed with my daughter's 7th birthday party. I watched a very active group of 7yr olds, both boys and girls, actually sit and weave and not make a mess that is until, we fed them.

My daughter looks at things from fabrics, yarns, beads, plants and sticks and tried to figure how she could weave them into her next project.
